FALL AND STEER: PARACHUTE, WIND & LANDING GAME

Fall and Steer is a game about coming down well. Your hero drops from high up the screen and all you control is sideways: arrow keys on a keyboard, or drag a finger left and right. A parachuter has to open the chute in time, because landing at full speed is a crash, and planes, birds, clouds or balloons float across the way, always leaving a gap you can reach.

At the bottom is a target, and the nearer you land to the centre the more points you get, from 10 at the edge to 100 for a bullseye. Wind gusts can push you off line; an arrow at the top shows which way and how hard. Each drop is a little harder, with a smaller target and stronger wind. A kids setting slows everything down, widens the target and never says you lost: a miss simply lets you try the same drop again.

WHAT THIS EXAMPLE SHOWS

Jump, steer left and right through planes and birds, fight the wind and land on the target: the nearer the middle, the more points. Play a parachuter, a drifting leaf, a paper plane or a moon lander. Use the sample to name the audience, the main action, and the smallest useful first version. Cleo HQ then helps turn your own brief into a product plan and a working build.

QUESTIONS FOUNDERS ASK

Which game ideas does it fit?

Ideas where something falls and you steer it onto a spot: a parachuter or skydiver landing on a target, a leaf, feather or snowflake drifting down, a paper plane gliding to a runway, or a lander touching down. Wind, birds, planes, clouds and balloons are settings you can ask for.

Can a skydiving business use it?

Yes, as a branded game that brings people to the site, with the business as the theme. A skydiving centre or parachute school that wants bookings, prices and a contact page gets a website instead. The game is the product here, so a business uses it to entertain visitors.

Is it suitable for young kids?

Yes. The kids setting makes the fall slower, the target wider and the parachute automatic, bumping into things never ends the game, and a miss retries the same drop. Every picture is drawn by the game itself, progress is kept only in the browser, and there are no ads.
