BUILD A WINNING CARD BATTLE

A branching map lets players choose a route through fights, elite enemies, campfires, shops, and treasure. In battle, three energy points each turn limit which cards can be played before a monster makes its next move.

The player can read that next move, upgrade cards, and collect relics while building a deck for the Hollow King. Runs save between rooms, so the route can resume after a break.

WHAT THIS EXAMPLE SHOWS

A branching map lets players choose a route through fights, elite enemies, campfires, shops, and treasure. Use the sample to name the audience, the main action, and the smallest useful first version. Cleo HQ then helps turn your own brief into a product plan and a working build.

QUESTIONS FOUNDERS ASK

How does a turn work in the card battler?

The player starts each turn with three energy and spends it to play cards. Monsters show their next move, giving time to decide whether to attack, defend, or save a card. The deck changes as cards are upgraded or added along the route.

What choices are on the map?

The route branches through normal fights, elite encounters, campfires, shops, and treasure. Choosing one path can mean gaining an item or resting, while another path may bring a stronger opponent. The deck grows with those decisions before the final fight with the Hollow King.

Can I pause a run and return later?

The game saves progress between rooms, so leaving the page does not require starting over. A hint button is available if a battle choice becomes difficult. The sample includes twenty-five cards, nine monsters, and eight relics to create varied runs.
